It was reported that Amodu’s died on Saturday, around 4am in his sleep. He was said to have complained of chest pain, hours before he died. He died at age 58.
Football lovers, his associates, former players and Nigerians in general have taken to the social media to express their shock and pay tribute to the man who has coached the national more times than any other coach in history.
